Assistant Manager – Property Management
Location: Independence, MO
Pay Range: $42,000 – $47,000 per year (actual pay varies by experience). Commissions and bonus opportunities available.
OverviewSupport the Property Manager in driving leasing performance and delivering exceptional customer (resident) experiences while meeting occupancy, financial, and service goals for First Pacific.
Responsibilities- Guide prospects through the leasing process and manage renewals.
- Assist in achieving financial targets through strong leasing results and timely collections.
- Maintain positive, community‑focused resident relations and serve as brand ambassador.
- Support the Property Manager in maintaining a clean, welcoming common area and upholding safety standards.
- Lead by example: motivate team members, track goals, and address resident concerns proactively.
- 2+ years of leasing or assistant‑management experience in multifamily housing.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding leasing and sales goals.
- Excellent customer service, conflict‑resolution, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and follow‑up abilities.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email) and familiarity with property‑management software (Yardi a plus).
- Weekend availability required (some Saturdays).
