Position: (USA) Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Position Summary

  • Be a Team Member Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educates associates on tools, tasks and resources, mentors new technicians, and communicates effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
  • Be an Expert Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations (TPMS, Tire Pressure Monitoring systems), product specifications and seasonality, as well as point‑of‑sale systems and both telephone and in‑person selling techniques.
  • Be a Techie Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement by using handheld technology and systems for immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training.
  • Be an Owner Communicates equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead, tracks and monitors returns and special orders, operates cash registers, processes transactions, maintains accurate inventory, audits safety and compliance standards, reports complaints and hazards, completes required paperwork and logs, ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies, and assists members with purchasing decisions.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador Acts as a brand advocate by valuing members’ experience, modeling high‑quality service and products, and influencing others to work respectfully, supportively and team‑oriented while identifying roadblocks and training teammates.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners to identify priorities and recommend improvement opportunities.
