As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrols in Independence, MO
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security‑related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This role is both armed and driving, requiring you to remain visible and responsive throughout your shift.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and visitors as required.
• Report and document any security‑related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal and client‑specific protocols and procedures while performing armed patrol duties.

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
