As a Senior
Tax Staff Accountant you will have the opportunity to work on various types of tax returns with varying levels of complexity. This role will help you to develop a true command of all things tax. We have a variety of tax research tools available that will allow you to continue to gain proficiency in tax research, too. We pride ourselves on delivering high level tax services which include tax research, drafting memos for tax issues, as well as preparing and reviewing a variety of tax return deliverables.

• Assist clients with meeting their tax and financial planning objectives
• Prepare a variety of tax returns and serve as a tax liaison when appropriate
• For business returns, prepare tax trial balance and post any needed journal entries
• Assist clients with understanding their corporate and personal tax returns
• Keep up to date on ever-changing tax regulations and policies

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate (preferred)
• 3-5 years experience preparing all types of tax returns
• Ability to recognize tax saving opportunities and implement tax strategies for clients
• Genuine passion for tax and public accounting with a love of learning
• Ability to build effective business relationships with clients
• Possess sound judgement and integrity
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to work independently yet cohesively as part of a team
