We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Entry Level Traffic Engineer to join our growing team in Dayton or Cleveland, Ohio
. This is a full‑time opportunity for a recent graduate or early‑career professional eager to launch a career in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.

• Pay: $65,000 – $85,000/year (based on experience, certifications, and regional market standards)

• Conduct traffic impact studies, traffic operations analyses, and safety studies.
• Perform signal system design and develop signal timing plans.
• Maintain traffic, pavement markings, signage, and highway lighting design.
• Study corridors and assist in preparing traffic engineering designs and plans for transportation projects.
• Stay up to date on transportation engineering guidelines, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with other traffic and transportation/civil engineers to identify project issues and facilitate resolution.
• Analyze situations to improve efficiency and react quickly and calmly to high‑pressure situations.
• Visit work sites to monitor project progress, report findings, and meet all safety requirements; occasional travel may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Preferred: EIT Certification.

• Required:
  
  1–3 years of experience.
• Required:
  
  Proficiency with Synchro/Sim Traffic, HCS, SIDRA, Trans Modeler, VISSIM, AutoCAD, Micro Station, Geopak, Open Roads Designer, and Microsoft Office.
• Required:
  
  Knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual and Congestion Management Guidelines.
• Preferred:
  
  Experience with Travel Demand Modeling Software (Trans
  
  CAD, CUBE), ArcGIS, and SignCAD.
