We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our general ledger and financial reporting functions. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with US GAAP, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering timely, high-quality reports to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- General Ledger Oversight:
Manage and maintain the integrity of the general ledger, including month-end and year-end close processes. - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of disclosures and supporting schedules.
- Process & Controls:
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance. - Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide guidance on complex transactions and reconciliations.
- Audit Support:
Coordinate with external auditors; manage audit requests and ensure timely completion. - Analysis & Insights:
Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management. - Systems & Tools:
Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, reconciliations, and reporting; support ERP system enhancements and data integrity initiatives.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). - Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities. - Strong background in general ledger management and financial reporting.
- Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis). - In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
