Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Reports To: Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Supervisor

Rate: Up to 55/hr

Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who can serve as the primary liaison between product owners, business stakeholders, developers, and leadership while leading IT initiatives and driving successful solution delivery. This role supports projects of varying size, promotes continuous process improvement, and helps maintain strong stakeholder satisfaction.

• Lead projects by facilitating discovery sessions, translating requirements into user stories and storyboards, running grooming sessions, and coordinating delivery activities
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and deliverables
• Use Azure Dev Ops to manage user stories, tasks, bugs, and sprints with transparency and traceability

• Execute manual and automated test cases for new and existing features
• Perform functional, integration, security, data conversion, performance, and user acceptance testing
• Document, track, and drive defects through resolution and support ongoing patch and production testing

• Create procedures and knowledgebase articles, and provide demos to end users to gather feedback
• Translate technical solutions into clear language for nontechnical stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of experience in systems development, or a proven track record as a BA QA I
• Experience supporting a call center CRM platform and related modules and workflows
• Working knowledge of Windows Forms or web applications, IVR systems, File Net, and data warehouse or SQL jobs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

• Experience with Beyond Compare and Visio for process and flow documentation
• Ability to write simple to complex SQL queries and mentor junior team members
• Experience with defect tracking systems and Azure Dev Ops or TFS
• Familiarity with black box, grey box, and white box testing approaches, plus automated test strategy
• Functional system specifications

• User acceptance criteria checklists
