As a Strategic Key Account Manager at Spectrum, you will champion client success by guiding organizations through our advanced voice, video, data and managed network services. By developing tailored account strategies, you will create long-term value, fuel revenue growth and help Spectrum remain the preferred technology partner for leading businesses.
HowYou’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute targeted account strategies to grow revenue and strengthen relationships with high-priority clients
- Identify new opportunities by monitoring account developments and designing solutions that address complex business needs
- Expand Spectrum’s presence through initiative-taking networking, on-site visits and industry events to secure new business and renewals
- Assess serviceability and qualify leads by coordinating site surveys and conducting return on investment analyses
- Maintain comprehensive sales records and client data for accurate reporting and forecasting
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure outstanding service and client satisfaction
- Continually enhance your sales capabilities by attending meetings and training sessions as required
Work in both office and field environments to support client engagement and account management activities.
What You’ll Bring to SpectrumRequired Qualifications Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of medium to large account sales experience in the technology industry, managing a business-to-business territory and exceeding assigned quotas
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Effective networking, negotiating and closing skills
- Quick learner able to apply knowledge in team settings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and willingness to travel frequently
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- 3+ years of sales experience responsible for achieving a monthly revenue quota in Integrated Strategic and Managed Service
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Working knowledge of Integrated Strategic and Managed Service sales
A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.
The base pay for this position generally is between $83,200.00 and $. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $70,000
.
