Heidelberg Distributing Company began in 1938 and serves more than 26,000 retail and industry establishments across Ohio and Kentucky. The family‑owned business has been acquired by Redwood Holdings in 2022 and continues to distribute premium wine, beer, spirits, and quality beverages to stores, venues, and restaurants.

Build lasting relationships with assigned retail accounts, ensuring product freshness and proper rotation. Accomplish preset account objectives, manage merchandising, and maintain communication with the Area Sales Leader.

• Execute programs to drive key supplier sales objectives.
• Assist sales professionals with display builds and product positioning.
• Maintain current sales goals and identify new opportunities.
• Support product delivery and maintain retail call frequency.
• Pre‑work each day to prepare merchandise for next‑day calls.
• Audit accounts during sales calls to ensure point‑of‑sale compliance.
• Monitor product freshness, finished product loss, and quality control.
• Develop a sales support route for customer relations and route efficiency.
• Assist in cover sales routes during vacations.
• Respond to retailer questions and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines, company, and supplier policies.
• Participate in a team environment of fearless feedback and total transparency.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and 21 years of age required.
• Ability to drive to multiple locations and maintain insurance compliance.
• Beverage and consumer product sales experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs preferred.
• Outgoing, self‑directed, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.

• Flexible hours throughout the week, including weekends.
• Work in adverse weather conditions and wide temperature variations.
• Availability to work before and during national holidays.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs minimum and climb ladders safely.
• Lift up to 100 cases of beer/wine per day and build multi‑case displays.
• Business casual dress code; closed‑toe shoes mandatory in the warehouse.
• Stand, balance, climb stairs, sit, use hands for standard office equipment, and reach with hands and arms.
