Service Technician & Mechanic – Diesel Engine Rebuilder
Position summary All Crane Service, LLC is seeking a Service Technician & Mechanic – Diesel Engine Rebuilder. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position located in Independence, OH. It comes with a comprehensive benefits package and a $300 sign‑on bonus after 100 days of continuous employment.
Essential functions- Disassemble, clean and reassemble engines and/or engine components.
- Perform preventative maintenance based on engine assessment.
- Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
- Read, understand and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Maintain positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers.
- Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.
- Work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience with Cummins engines and INSITE software is a plus.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Strong diesel engine background.
- Basic set of mechanic’s hand tools.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
