Logistics Planner (Open) – Independence, OH
Location: Independence, OH – Rockside Woods Blvd – Management – AMG-Corp
Compensation: $28.00 per hour
Work Schedule: 6am – 6pm, 12‑hour shifts with 8‑hour OT built in every other week.

The Logistics Planner reports to the Logistics Manager and assists the Logistics Analysts who forecast bulk product deliveries to ensure customer service levels and operational efficiency while supporting the Airgas Merchant Gases safety culture and adherence to DOT rules and regulations.
Responsibilities- Forecast, adjust, plan, and schedule deliveries of bulk cryogenic gases to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of bulk gases to internal and external customers through frequent communication and schedule adjustments.
- Maintain accurate computer input data to effectively process customer information and exceed expectations.
- Extensively communicate and coordinate with various departments (production, distribution, sales, drivers, etc.) within Airgas to carry out daily functions.
- Support the Airgas Merchant Gases safety culture and assist drivers in adhering to DOT rules and regulations while optimizing delivery efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be available to work any 12‑hour shift, including weekends
- College degree with an emphasis in operations management, logistics, or business administration
- Two years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry
