As we scale, we are looking for an accountant who can manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and support compliance and reporting.

Role Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing vouchers, managing invoices and payments, and supporting monthly accounting and compliance processes in coordination with our external Chartered Accountant. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and structured organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and organise all invoices, credit notes, and supporting documents.
Prepare payment vouchers and assist in processing vendor and operational payments.
Track purchase orders and inward/outward documentation aligned with operations.
Coordinate monthly data submission to our Chartered Accountant including bank statements, invoices, sales reports, and expense summaries.
Support GST filings, TDS documentation, reconciliations, and statutory compliance through CA coordination.
Track inventory movement and maintain updated inventory records across manufacturing and warehousing.
Maintain records of reimbursements and employee expense claims.
Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate accounting of stock and purchase cycles.
Create and maintain structured financial documentation and reporting dashboards.

Requirements
2–5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred: FMCG / D2C / startup environment).
Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and documentation processes.
Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, Quick Books, or any accounting software.
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Experience with GST, invoicing, purchase records, and reconciliations.
Detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy with sensitive financial information.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
