Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Assistant Accountant role based in Hyderabad at Sri Murugan Ghee and Sweets. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. The role also involves assisting in the preparation of financial statements, monitoring budgets, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure compliance with regulations.
The candidate will be expected to communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, maintain documentation, and support audit processes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in accounting practices, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
Expertise in using accounting software and tools alongside proficiency in MS Excel
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage budgets, reconcile accounts, and understand tax regulations
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Prior experience in the food production or retail industry is a plus
