Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accountant to join our team  ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports.
- Analyse business information to prepare monthly P&L, Balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly financial closure processes.
- Assistance in all regulatory compliances such as tax returns, TDS filing, GST returns, etc.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Build and maintain structured Excel-based reports and trackers
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in accounting.
- Assistance in overall finance functions of the organization

Qualifications & Prior

Experience:

- B.com (Hons.)
- CA Dropout (Articleship completed)
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, CA, or equivalent)
- Prior experience of 6 to 8 years preferred (As an Accountant or in a similar role).

Skills & Others:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- High Proficiency in Tally and MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Prior experience with e-commerce accounting
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
