About the Role
We are seeking an experienced  US Tax Accountant  to join our growing team in Margao, Goa. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience preparing, reviewing, and filing various US federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships, and corporations.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of US tax regulations, compliance requirements and tax filing processes.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review and file US federal and state tax returns accurately and timely.
Handle individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns.
Ensure compliance with US tax laws and filing requirements.
Analyze financial records and supporting documentation for tax preparation.
Identify tax-saving opportunities and potential compliance risks.
Respond to tax notices and assist with tax-related inquiries.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in US tax regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.

Required Experience & Skills
3+ years of experience in US Tax Accounting.
Strong experience preparing and filing various US tax forms and returns.

Hands-on experience with:
Form 1040 (Individual Income Tax Return)
Form 1120 (Corporation Income Tax Return)
Form 1120-S (S Corporation Return)
Form 1065 (Partnership Return)
Form 1041 (Trust & Estate Return)
State Tax Returns
Knowledge of US tax compliance, deductions, credits and tax regulations.

Experience with tax preparation and accounting software.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
CPA, EA, or equivalent tax certification preferred.
Experience working with US-based clients or public accounting firms.
Familiarity with tax research and tax planning activities.
