Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Navsari. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, cash flow reports, and management reports, as well as ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, tax laws, and regulatory filings. The role will involve coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, managing audits, and supporting budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
The Chartered Accountant will also review internal controls, support process improvements, and provide financial analysis to assist management in decision-making.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership; bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, direct and indirect taxation, and statutory compliance applicable in India.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, Tally along with strong MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Experience in managing audits, preparing financial statements, and handling daily accounting operations in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing, mining, or metals industry is an advantage.
