About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (Fresher) to join our Consolidation and Financial Reporting team. The role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial consolidation, statutory reporting, audit coordination, and compliance within a large corporate environment. The incumbent will work closely with senior stakeholders and support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with Ind AS/IFRS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and financial reports.
Support quarterly and annual financial reporting activities.
Coordinate with group entities for collection and validation of financial information.
Assist in intercompany reconciliations and resolution of differences.
Support related party reporting and compliance requirements.
Assist in statutory audit activities and coordination with internal and external auditors.
Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and financial analysis reports.
Support documentation of accounting positions and technical accounting matters.
Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives within the finance function.
Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting timelines.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified in the recent 0-2 years.
Strong academic record with a sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS.
Understanding of financial statements and consolidation concepts.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial data analysis.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn financial reporting, compliance, and consolidation processes.

Preferred Skills

Articleship experience in a Big 4 or reputed audit firm.
Exposure to statutory audits, financial reporting, or group reporting during articleship.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP will be an added advantage.
