Job Description:

The Designer (FMCG) will be responsible for creating and executing design solutions across  FMCG product packaging . The role focuses on strong  conceptualization, user-centric design, and brand consistency , supporting marketing, brand, and product initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality creative outputs aligned with organizational standards and timelines.

Educational

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in  Fine Arts (BFA/MFA) , Visual Communication, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, or a related discipline.
Relevant Certifications (Preferred)

Required Experience:

Min 2–4 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing product and packaging creatives, art works, mock-ups for FMCG packaging products and UI design for web and digital platforms.
Experience working with FMCG or consumer-focused brands with digital and packaging alignment.
Hands-on experience in FMCG packaging or product creatives and preparation of print-ready artwork.
Proven experience in typography, colour theory, layout, and maintaining brand consistency.
Practical exposure to the end-to-end UX lifecycle including user journeys, wireframes, UI flows, prototyping, and final UI.

Working experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, including components and design systems.
Experience designing responsive interfaces across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Ability to translate business or marketing briefs into strong design and UX concepts.
Working knowledge of basic video editing and motion graphics for digital campaigns.
Portfolio demonstrating UI, web, FMCG packaging, and conceptual work.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging & Product Design:
Design and develop product and packaging creatives for FMCG products.
Prepare packaging mock-ups, artworks, and print-ready files in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and print production standards.
Conceptualization & Creative Support:
Translate marketing and brand briefs into strong creative concepts and visual designs.
Contribute to ideation for campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
Video Editing & Visual Content:
Edit and produce short-format videos for digital marketing, brand communication, and product promotion.
Support basic motion graphics and visual effects as required.
Brand Compliance:
Maintain consistency of brand identity across all creative outputs.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all design assets.

Technical & Creative

Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience in packaging/product design and print production processes.
Video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools.
Strong conceptualization, visual storytelling, and attention to detail.
Behavioural

Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
