Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site Associate Dentist role based at Jain Dental Hospital in Malerkotla. The Associate Dentist will perform routine check-ups, diagnose dental conditions, and provide treatments such as fillings, root canal therapy, extractions, crowns, and other restorative or preventive procedures. The role includes creating and explaining treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, and ensuring adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.

The Associate Dentist will educate patients on oral hygiene, coordinate with clinical and support staff for smooth operations, and participate in case discussions or clinical meetings as needed. The position also involves maintaining professional conduct, staying updated with current dental best practices, and supporting a positive, respectful clinic environment.
Qualifications

Recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from an accredited institution; valid registration/license with the relevant dental council.
Clinical competence in routine dental procedures, including examinations, restorative dentistry, endodontics (root canals), extractions, and preventive care.
Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, and post-treatment care in clear, respectful language.
Commitment to strict infection control, sterilization standards, and safe clinical practices in line with regulatory and professional guidelines.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff.
Good organizational and time-management skills to handle patient flow, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
Willingness to learn, adopt new techniques or technologies, and participate in continuing dental education.
Prior clinical experience (internship or post-qualification practice) in a dental clinic or hospital setting is preferred but not strictly mandatory for strong entry-level candidates.
