Job Responsibilities :

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Visual Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Applied Arts, Digital/Contemporary Art Practices, Art History, etc.).
- Supervise student projects, dissertations, and research work.
- Develop curriculum and course content aligned with industry practices and emerging trends in art and design.
- Engage in academic research, exhibitions, publications, and creative practices in the field of Visual Arts.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic, creative, and professional pursuits.
- Participate in departmental and university-level committees, workshops, seminars, and exhibitions.
- Build collaborations with industry, galleries, art institutions, and cultural bodies.
- Contribute to the university’s vision of excellence in research, innovation, and holistic education.

Job Knowledge (Prerequisites)

- Strong knowledge in contemporary and traditional art practices.
- Proficiency in integrating technology, digital tools, and interdisciplinary approaches in art education.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to engage in collaborative research and creative projects.
- Passion for experiential learning and student-centered pedagogy.

Education

- Master’s Degree in Visual Arts/Fine Arts or equivalent with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Ph.D. in Visual Arts or relevant discipline is mandatory.

Experience:

- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience at university/college level, with evidence of published research/artistic work.
