Job Overview:
The Admissions Counsellor at The Goa Jazz Academy will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and informative experience. This role requires an individual with strong communication skills, a passion for music education, and the ability to engage with students and parents to help them make informed decisions about their musical journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Outreach & Engagement:
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Conduct information sessions and campus tours for prospective students and their families.
Represent the academy at external events, workshops, and educational fairs.
Admissions Process & Enrollment:
Provide detailed guidance on program offerings, eligibility, and application procedures.
Assist students in completing application forms and submitting necessary documentation.
Track and follow up on applications to ensure timely completion of the admissions process.
Collaborate with faculty to coordinate auditions and entrance assessments.
Marketing & Promotions:
Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and online content for admissions campaigns.
Maintain the academy’s admissions database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of student records.
Assist in developing strategies to increase student enrollment and retention.
Student Support & Onboarding:
Help newly admitted students transition smoothly into the academy.
Support students with scholarship and financial aid applications if applicable.
Gather feedback from students to improve the admissions experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree
Passion for music and familiarity with is highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in student admissions, counselling, or sales is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages (Hindi/Konkani) is a plus.

Work Experience

At least 2 years of work experience as an admissions counsellor or a sales position
