1. Research & Specialization
In Pharmaceutics, the "publish or perish" mantra often focuses on innovation in drug delivery. Key areas of focus for a modern Assistant Professor include:
Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS):  Developing liposomes, nanoparticles, or microspheres.
Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics:  Studying $ADME$ (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion) profiles.
Regulatory Science:  Navigating FDA/EMA guidelines for new drug applications.
