JOB DESCRIPTION – VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTOR

1. Role Summary
The Vocational Instructor is responsible for assessing students' abilities, delivering skill-based training, and supporting their overall development through structured vocational programs.

Key Responsibilities

Assess students' learning abilities, interests, and skill levels

Plan and deliver vocational skill training sessions

Provide hands-on practical training to enhance employability skills

Track and evaluate student progress regularly

Maintain proper documentation, including progress reports and training records

Manage student behavior and ensure a positive learning environment

3. Additional Responsibilities

Adapt training methods based on individual student needs

Encourage participation and skill development

Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team when required

Requirements

Minimum  3 years of relevant experience  in vocational training or special education

Qualification in  DVR /

B.Ed /

D.Ed in Special Education

RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) certification  is mandatory

Strong  communication and interpersonal skills
