Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Student Counsellor to join the Admissions team. The candidate will be responsible for counseling prospective students and parents over phone calls and digital platforms, providing accurate information about academic programs, and guiding them through the admission process. The role requires strong communication skills, a target-driven approach, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with students to achieve enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, admission procedures, and career opportunities via phone calls and online platforms
Handle inbound and outbound calls to generate and nurture admission leads
Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students to convert inquiries into admissions
Provide detailed information about courses, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and admission timelines
Guide students through the application, documentation, and enrollment process
Maintain accurate records of student interactions, inquiries, and admissions in CRM systems
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly call and admission targets
Coordinate with the Admissions and Academic teams to ensure smooth onboarding of students
Address student queries and provide timely resolution to concerns
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the admission cycle
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong convincing and counseling abilities
Target-oriented and result-driven mindset
Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment
Good time management and organizational skills
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in / Telecounseling / Admissions / Sales /
Experience in the Education / EdTech / University sector - preffered
