Minimum Qualification
B.Arch. and M.Arch.  from a recognized university.
Ph.D. in Architecture  (Awarded)  or Ph.D. Thesis Submitted  in Architecture or a closely related specialization.
Registration with the Council of Architecture is desirable.
Strong academic record with evidence of research publications, conference presentations, and scholarly activities. Amity faculty positions in Architecture commonly emphasize doctoral qualifications, teaching, and research excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate Architecture courses.
Prepare and deliver lectures, studio sessions, tutorials, and assessments.
Develop and update course content, studio briefs, assignments, and examination materials.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Research & Publications
Conduct high-quality research in Architecture and allied disciplines.
Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Guide student research, dissertations, and architectural thesis projects.
Contribute to funded research projects, consultancy, and innovation activities.
Student Mentoring
Mentor students for academic, professional, and research development.
Guide internships, portfolios, competitions, and career progression.
Support students in project-based and experiential learning activities.
Institutional Contributions
Participate in departmental and university committees.
Assist in accreditation, curriculum development, admissions, and outreach activities.
Organize workshops, seminars, conferences, and industry interactions.
Contribute to faculty development and interdisciplinary initiatives.
Desired Skills
Strong architectural design and studio teaching capabilities.
Knowledge of sustainable design, urban planning, building technologies, digital design tools, and emerging trends in architecture.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in academic and research environments.
Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Rhino, BIM platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Experience
Fresh Ph.D. (Thesis Submitted) candidates with strong academic and research credentials may be considered.
Prior teaching, professional practice, research, or consultancy experience in Architecture will be an advantage.
