Role Summary

The Secondary Mathematics & Science Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons for Grades 6–8 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry while supporting students' overall academic development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver Mathematics and Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources.
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
Maintain student records, attendance, and academic documentation.
Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
Participate in school events, meetings, PTMs, and professional development programs.

Qualifications & Experience

B.Sc in Mathematics, Science.
B.Ed. is mandatory.
1–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school.

Skills Required

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Science.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
Proficiency in technology-enabled teaching.
Ability to engage students through interactive and experiential learning methods.
