Role
Description:
The Kindergarten Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Berhampur. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that support early childhood development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Daily responsibilities include creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment, guiding classroom activities, assessing student progress, and providing individual support where needed. The role also involves communicating regularly with parents or guardians, preparing learning materials, maintaining classroom records, and participating in school meetings and training sessions.
The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and uphold De Paul School's educational philosophy.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Education, with knowledge of early childhood learning principles and practices
Demonstrated Teaching and Training skills, with experience managing young learners in a classroom setting
Effective Communication skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues
Ability to design and implement age-appropriate Lesson Planning aligned with school curriculum
Relevant teaching certification or a Bachelor of Education degree.
Prior experience as a kindergarten or early primary teacher is preferred
Patience, empathy, and the ability to foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to school policies and values
