Role Description The English TGT for Secondary school level at Mount Litera Zee School Nalgonda is responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum for middle and secondary grades. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching grammar, literature, and writing skills, assessing student progress through assignments and tests, and maintaining accurate records of performance. The role involves guiding learners in reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and spoken English, as well as organizing language activities such as debates, group discussions, and creative writing tasks.
The teacher is expected to collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events, communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress, and contribute to a positive classroom environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nalgonda.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong English Teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment of student learning.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, student engagement, and interaction with parents and colleagues.
Candidates should possess Training skills to mentor students in study habits, language proficiency, and exam preparation.
Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field, along with a
B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification.
Prior experience teaching English at secondary school level, preferably in CBSE or similar curriculum.
Ability to use basic educational technology tools and support inclusive, learner-focused classroom practices.
