Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), based at GGI in Khanna. The Assistant Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and, where applicable, postgraduate CSE courses, including lectures, tutorials, labs, and project guidance. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, evaluating student performance, mentoring learners, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves participating in curriculum development, contributing to research and scholarly activities, and engaging in departmental meetings and academic committees.

The Assistant Professor will also support outreach, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in core Computer Science and Engineering concepts such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, computer networks, and programming.
Ability to teach and guide students in emerging areas like software development practices, web and mobile technologies, AI/ML, data science, or cybersecurity.
Competence in instructional design, classroom management, student mentoring, and the use of educational technology and learning management systems.
Skills in academic research, including literature review, problem formulation, publication writing, and participation in conferences or workshops.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, industry partners, and diverse student groups.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution;
Ph.D. or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred.
Prior teaching or academic experience, internship supervision, or industry exposure in the IT or engineering sector is an advantage.
