Role Description This is a full-time, on-site High School English Teacher role based in the Ahmednagar district. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills for high school students. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
The teacher will maintain classroom discipline, create an inclusive and respectful learning environment, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Additional duties include participating in staff meetings, collaborating with colleagues on academic and co-curricular initiatives, communicating with parents or guardians as needed, and contributing to school events and activities.
Qualifications
Strong instructional skills in English Teaching and general Teaching, with experience at the high school level.
Ability to design effective Lesson Planning that aligns with curriculum standards and student learning outcomes.
Excellent Communication and Writing skills for classroom instruction, feedback, and professional correspondence.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or licensure is preferred.
Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting and the ability to manage classroom dynamics respectfully.
Familiarity with student assessment methods, educational technology, and inclusive teaching practices.
Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to professional ethics and continuous improvement.
