Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Khanna for an Assistant Professor/Head of Department (HoD) of Radiology & Imaging Technology. The role involves delivering lectures and practical demonstrations in radiology and imaging technology, developing course materials, and aligning curricula with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Assistant Professor/HoD will oversee departmental activities, mentor faculty and students, coordinate timetables and assessments, and support research, clinical training, and industry collaboration.
The position also includes academic advising, evaluation of student performance, participation in institutional committees, and contribution to academic events and continuous program improvement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Assistant Teaching and Education, with the ability to design and deliver structured learning experiences in radiology and imaging technology.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex clinical concepts clearly and engage with students, colleagues, and external partners.
Candidates should possess competency in Mathematics relevant to medical imaging, such as calculations related to radiation dosage, image processing, and quantitative analysis.
Candidates should possess experience Working With Children and young adults in academic settings, demonstrating patience, inclusivity, and a student-centered approach.
Postgraduate degree in Radiology, Medical Imaging Technology, or a closely related discipline;
PhD or equivalent research experience is an advantage.
Prior teaching experience in higher education and familiarity with outcome-based education and curriculum development.
Knowledge of current practices and technologies in radiology and imaging, along with an understanding of relevant clinical standards and safety protocols.
Ability to provide academic leadership as HoD, including team management, planning, and coordination of departmental activities.
