Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Educational Counselor, based in Kochi. The role involves guiding students in selecting appropriate courses and universities, providing tailored country-specific counseling, and assisting in the application process. The counselor will also support students with career counseling, preparation for interviews, and ensuring compliance with visa requirements. Additionally, the role requires educating students on scholarship opportunities and intake timelines, while maintaining clear and empathetic communication with students and their families.

Qualifications

0-1 year of experience in student counseling, customer service, education, or a related field (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and parents
Passion for guiding students in their higher education and career journey
Basic understanding of international education systems (UK, Australia, Germany, Canada, or other study destinations) is an advantage
Willingness to learn about overseas admissions, visa processes, and university requirements
Good organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online communication tools
A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a customer-focused mindset
