Role Description  The PGT English role is a full-time, on-site teaching position based in Varanasi. The educator will plan and deliver engaging English lessons for higher classes, covering literature, language, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills aligned with the prescribed curriculum. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, designing assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves maintaining classroom discipline, supporting learners with varying abilities, organizing co-curricular English activities, and contributing to academic planning and school events.

The PGT English teacher is also expected to participate in staff meetings, parent interactions, and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong command of English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and grammar.
Expertise in teaching English literature and language at secondary and senior secondary levels.
Ability to design lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials that cater to diverse learning needs.
Effective classroom management skills and experience creating an inclusive, student-centered environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, along with a

B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification.
Competence in using basic educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and parents.
Experience in CBSE or similar curriculum and prior teaching experience at PGT level is preferred.
