Role Description  The Assistant Professor in Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, develop lesson plans, prepare instructional materials, and conduct classroom and laboratory sessions. Responsibilities include mentoring and advising students, supervising clinical and practical training, assessing student performance, and maintaining academic records. The role also involves contributing to curriculum development, participating in academic committees, engaging in research or scholarly activities, and staying updated with current practices in operation theatre and anesthesia technology.

The faculty member will collaborate with colleagues and clinical partners to ensure high-quality learning outcomes and compliance with regulatory and institutional standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based at GGI in Khanna.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Operation Theatre Technology and Anesthesia Technology, including current clinical protocols and safety standards.
Ability to design and deliver lectures, practical demonstrations, and skills-based training in a structured and engaging manner.
Experience in student assessment, academic mentoring, and guidance for clinical placements or internships.
Competence in academic administration tasks such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and contributing to accreditation or quality assurance processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Operation Theatre Technology, Anesthesia Technology, Allied Health Sciences) from a recognized institution; higher qualifications or Ph.D. are an advantage.
Prior teaching or clinical experience in operation theatre or anesthesia services is highly beneficial.
