About Young Edsplorer Pvt. Ltd. Young Edsplorer Pvt. Ltd. is an experiential learning and educational travel organisation that works with schools to create meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom.
We design and manage domestic and international educational tours, student travel programs, experiential learning journeys, and school group tours , working closely with schools, students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance International Tour Manager – Hong Kong to accompany and manage a school student group travelling to Hong Kong in October 2026 .
This is a project-based opportunity for an experienced travel professional who has genuine hands-on experience managing school/student groups on international tours and understands the responsibilities involved in travelling with students.
About the Opportunity The selected International Tour Manager will accompany the school group throughout the Hong Kong tour and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination, safety, discipline, communication, logistics, and overall experience of the students .
This is specifically a school group/student travel assignment , not a general leisure-tour management role.
We are looking for someone who has previously accompanied school or student groups to Hong Kong at least three times and is confident handling the practical requirements of managing students during an international tour.
Mandatory Experience Requirements Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in international tour management, educational travel, student travel, school tours, or group tour operations.
Must have personally accompanied school/student groups to Hong Kong at least 3 times .
Must have hands-on experience managing school groups or student groups internationally .
Must be comfortable travelling with and managing students.
Fluent English communication is mandatory.
Must be available for the required assignment in October 2026 .
Please note:
Personal travel to Hong Kong will not be considered equivalent to professional school-group tour experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. School Group Tour Management Accompany the student group throughout the Hong Kong tour.
Take responsibility for the smooth execution of the planned itinerary.
Coordinate daily schedules, sightseeing, activities, transfers, meals, accommodation, and other tour components.
Ensure students and accompanying teachers are aware of the day's schedule and movement plan.
Maintain group discipline and ensure students follow the required travel and safety protocols.
Coordinate closely with teachers and school representatives throughout the tour.
2. Student Management & Safety Act as a responsible point of contact for students during the tour.
Ensure students remain with the group during transfers, sightseeing, activities, and other movements.
Conduct regular headcounts and ensure no student is left behind.
Assist students with reasonable travel-related requirements and concerns.
Handle student queries and concerns calmly and professionally.
Identify and escalate safety, behavioural, medical, or other sensitive concerns to the appropriate school representative and Young Edsplorer team.
Remain attentive to student safety and wellbeing throughout the journey.
3. Hong Kong Tour Coordination Coordinate airport arrival and departure procedures.
Manage airport transfers and group movements.
Coordinate hotel check-ins and check-outs.
Coordinate with transport providers, hotels, local guides, attractions, activity providers, and other destination partners.
Ensure the group follows the planned itinerary and timelines.
Handle changes, delays, or unexpected situations and coordinate suitable solutions.
Ensure timely movement between hotels, attractions, educational visits, and scheduled activities.
