Role

Description:

The TGT Mathematics role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune. The educator will plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback to support learning progress. The role also involves designing activities that build conceptual understanding, coordinating with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, and participating in school events, meetings, and professional development.

The teacher is expected to maintain a positive classroom environment, use diverse teaching strategies, and support students' holistic growth.

Qualifications & Experience
A  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics  or Education, with a specialisation in Mathematics, is preferred.
Relevant  teaching certification  is preferred.
Minimum 5+ year s of teaching experience in Mathematics is required.
Candidates must be currently based in Pune.
Candidates should be available for  immediate/urgent joining.
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics with a sound understanding of Mathematics Education.
Proven skills in  Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning,  with the ability to design structured, age-appropriate and engaging learning experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  for effective classroom instruction, student engagement, and collaboration with parents, families and colleagues.
Experience teaching  Middle School or Secondary-level Mathematics  will be an advantage.
Familiarity with  modern pedagogical practices  and the ability to effectively integrate technology into classroom instruction.
Strong classroom management  skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive and learner-centred learning environment.
