Position: Professor ( CSE - IT )

Minimum Qualifications:



Education:

ME/MTech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology (IT).


Experience:

Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the collegiate level and a strong track record of research and publication in reputable journals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Instruction

 Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology.
 Utilize innovative teaching methods to ensure students develop critical thinking and technical skills.

2. Industry-Related Training and Development

 Design and conduct industry-aligned training programs to equip students with practical skills required in the job market.
 Develop modules focused on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security, Data Science, and Cloud Computing.
 Partner with industry experts to integrate real-world scenarios and case studies into academic learning.

3. Research and Scholarship

 Conduct and publish high-impact research in reputable journals and conferences.
 Mentor students on research projects, fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation.

4. Student Mentorship

 Provide academic advising and career guidance, supporting students’ academic progress and long-term professional goals.
 Assist students in developing research proposals and participating in academic competitions or conferences.

5. Laboratory Oversight

 Design, supervise, and improve laboratory sessions to give students hands-on experience with the latest tools and techniques.
 Ensure that lab sessions complement theoretical instruction and support practical skill development.

6. Assessment and Evaluation

 Prepare and evaluate exams, assignments, and projects to measure student learning outcomes effectively.
 Provide constructive feedback to students and ensure assessments align with course objectives.

7. Committee Participation

 Contribute to academic and administrative committees, supporting departmental and institutional governance.
 Participate in decision-making processes regarding curriculum changes, student welfare, and departmental policies.

8. Professional Development

 Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in Computer Science and Information Technology.
 Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance teaching and research capabilities.

9. Community Engagement

 Participate in outreach programs to promote the department and its offerings.
 Develop collaborations with local industries and academic communities to enhance the department’s visibility and impact.

10. Collaboration and Interdisciplinary Initiatives

 Work collaboratively with colleagues on interdisciplinary research and projects.
 Foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and cross-departmental engagement.

Measurement Metrics

1. Teaching Effectiveness:
 Monitor student feedback through evaluations and surveys.
 Track improvements in student performance and engagement metrics.

2. Industry-Relevant Training Impact:
 Track student participation in industry-focused training sessions.
 Measure the effectiveness of training programs based on student placements and certifications achieved.

3. Research Output:
 Measure the number of research publications in high-impact journals or conferences.
 Evaluate research collaborations and funded projects secured.

4. Student Success:
 Track student progression rates and their success in internships, certifications, and placements.
 Assess student participation in research initiatives and competitions.

5. Professional Growth:
