Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Head of O&M / Senior O&M Engineer to lead our solar plant Operations & Maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of solar power plants (rooftop & utility-scale).

Key Responsibilities:

• O&M Strategy Development  :
Plan, implement, and optimize maintenance strategies to ensure maximum plant uptime and efficiency.

• Performance Monitoring:
Monitor plant performance using SCADA systems, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to enhance energy generation.

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
Establish schedules for routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and prompt troubleshooting for faults.

• Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor O&M engineers, technicians, and site staff to ensure seamless operations.

• Vendor & Contractor Management:
Oversee contracts with third-party service providers, spare part suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with MNRE, DISCOM, and local government regulations for solar energy projects.

• Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain records of maintenance activities, prepare performance reports, and verify compliance with safety protocols.

• Emergency Response Management:
Direct troubleshooting and emergency response efforts in the event of unexpected plant failures or reduced energy output.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years in Operations & Maintenance of solar PV plants.
Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in SCADA, PV Syst, and solar performance monitoring tools.
Strong understanding of inverters, transformers, switch gear, and electrical protection systems.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of solar PV plants.

Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
