Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced  Inspection Project Manager  to lead inspection project delivery and the data processing/annotation function.
The role will be responsible for  end-to-end inspection project execution, quality control, data validation, team management, client coordination, and timely delivery of inspection reports and datasets .
The candidate will work closely with Drone Operations, GIS, AI, Survey, Data Processing, and Project Management teams and will directly lead the  Data Annotator team  responsible for organizing, annotating, validating, and preparing drone inspection datasets.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the  Inspection Department  and manage end-to-end inspection project execution, quality control, and timely delivery.
Manage  Visual, Thermal, LiDAR, AI-assisted , and asset inspection deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
Plan project timelines, resources, milestones, budgets, and delivery schedules while tracking KPIs, productivity, and quality. Lead and  manage the Data Annotation/Data Processing team , including task allocation, productivity, quality checks, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
Establish and improve  SOPs, QA/QC frameworks, inspection methodologies, annotation standards, and operational workflows.  Review and approve inspection reports, defect analysis, technical observations, annotated datasets, dashboards, and other client deliverables before submission.
Ensure proper identification, classification, prioritization, and validation of defects, anomalies, risks, and asset observations. Coordinate with  Drone Operations, GIS, Survey, AI, Data Processing, and Project Management teams for seamless project execution and data flow.
Monitor and resolve quality issues, rework, process bottlenecks, technical and operational escalations.
Lead project reviews, quality audits, corrective actions, client meetings, presentations, and progress updates. Maintain MIS, project dashboards, quality records, defect databases, performance trackers, and management reports.
Ensure compliance with client specifications, safety guidelines, regulatory requirements, data security, company policies, and industry best practices.
Drive process improvement, automation, AI-driven inspection workflows, and new inspection methodologies to improve efficiency and delivery quality.
Act as the key point of contact  for client satisfaction, project delivery, technical and quality escalations, while driving operational excellence and departmental growth.

Required Experience & Qualifications
Must Have
6–8 years of experience  in Project Delivery, Inspection, O&M, GIS, Data Processing, or Infrastructure Projects.
Bachelor's Degree in  Engineering, GIS, Geomatics, Electrical, Civil, or a related field .
Experience managing projects for  Power Utilities, Railways, Metro, EPC, or other Grid Infrastructure organizations .
Experience in team management, project coordination, quality assurance, and client handling.
Strong understanding of  Visual, Thermal, LiDAR, drone inspection, GIS, and data-processing workflows .
Strong communication, analytical, leadership, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams while working under strict delivery timelines.

Preferred

Experience with  Power Transmission, Distribution, Railways, Metro, or Infrastructure inspection projects .
Knowledge of  GIS platforms such as ArcGIS/ESRI/QGIS .
Understanding of transmission lines, substations, distribution networks, railway OHE, or metro infrastructure.
Exposure to  AI-based defect detection, image analytics, LiDAR, thermal inspection, or drone-based inspection platforms .
Experience working with government utilities, DISCOMs, TRANSCOs, Railways, Metro corporations, or EPC companies.
