Role Description  This is a part-time, remote role for a Medical Coder (Trainer) at GrowAI Edtech. The Medical Coder (Trainer) will design and deliver training sessions on medical coding, health information management concepts, and medical terminology to learners seeking careers in healthcare and AI-enabled health services. Daily responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, developing coding exercises and case studies, reviewing learner assignments, and providing constructive feedback to support skill development.

The role also involves staying current with coding guidelines and regulatory changes, collaborating with the curriculum team to refine course content, and supporting learners through virtual classes, Q&A sessions, and one-on-one coaching.
Qualifications
Solid medical coding expertise, including practical Coding Experience and familiarity with Medical Coding standards and guidelines.
Strong foundation in Health Information Management and Medical Terminology for accurate documentation and instruction.
Relevant professional credentials such as RHIT or equivalent certification in health information management or medical coding.
Experience teaching, mentoring, or training learners in a classroom, online, or corporate setting, preferably in healthcare or allied health fields.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in virtual learning environments.
Comfort with digital tools and online learning platforms, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
