CSSD MANAGER

Location: Mysuru

We are looking for an experienced  CSSD Manager  to lead Central Sterile Services Department operations and ensure the highest standards of sterilisation, infection prevention and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end CSSD operations including decontamination, cleaning, packing, sterilisation and sterile storage.

• Ensure compliance with hospital infection-control policies and applicable quality/accreditation standards.

• Monitor sterilisation processes, equipment performance, documentation and traceability.

• Ensure availability and proper handling of sterile supplies across clinical departments.

• Coordinate with OT, ICU, Nursing, Infection Control and other clinical teams.

• Monitor CSSD quality indicators and drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure staff competency, training, PPE compliance and safe work practices.

• Manage CSSD equipment, maintenance, inventory and consumables.

• Lead audits, incident investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
What We're Looking For

• Relevant nursing/paramedical/healthcare qualification.

• Experience managing CSSD operations in a hospital environment.

• Strong knowledge of sterilisation techniques, infection prevention and CSSD workflows.

• Understanding of NABH and hospital quality standards preferred.

• Strong team-management, coordination and documentation skills.
