Role Overview

As a Revenue Manager, you will own and drive OTA-led revenue performance across the hotel portfolio.

Your role is to maximise Occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR through data-driven pricing, disciplined inventory management, and strong OTA partnerships.

You will work closely with Sales, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure rate integrity, distribution efficiency, and a seamless booking experience—while mentoring OTA executives and enforcing process discipline.

Core Responsibilities
1. Revenue & Rate Strategy

- Design and execute dynamic pricing strategies across all properties and room categories.
- Maintain rate parity while deploying smart discounts and fenced offers.
- Track daily pick-up, pace vs forecast, and demand shifts—adjust rates proactively.

2. OTA Channel Management

- Manage and optimise hotel listings across all OTAs (content, images, policies, promotions).
- Drive visibility via OTA campaigns, sponsored listings, and tactical promotions.
- Coordinate with OTA account managers for seasonal pushes and market opportunities.

3. Inventory Optimisation

- Ensure real-time inventory accuracy across all distribution channels.
- Balance inventory between OTAs, direct bookings, and offline sales to minimise risk.
- Maximise revenue on high-demand dates without compromising ADR or brand positioning.

4. Market Intelligence & Demand Analysis

- Conduct daily competitor rate analysis and publish weekly comp-set insights.
- Track city-wide demand drivers: events, holidays, seasonality, and trends.
- Recommend packages, value-adds, and upsell opportunities aligned with demand.

5. Reporting & Performance Analysis

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering:
- Occupancy
- ADR
- RevPAR
- OTA-wise production
- Analyse cancellation ratios, conversion rates, and booking windows.
- Present clear insights and action plans to senior leadership.

6. Team Management & Discipline

- Lead and mentor OTA executives and the reservations team.
- Enforce SOP adherence, response timelines, and pricing discipline.
- Conduct regular training on OTA tools, upselling, and revenue best practices.

7. Guest Service Alignment

- Support reservation and front-office teams on escalated booking issues.
- Ensure a frictionless and trustworthy booking experience across all OTAs.

8. Relationship & Contract Management

- Maintain strong working relationships with OTA market managers.
- Negotiate:
- Better commission structures
- Visibility boosters
- Promotional support & co-funded campaigns

9. Industry Participation

- Attend revenue forums, OTA workshops, and partner events.
- Stay updated on distribution trends, algorithm changes, and pricing innovations.

Candidate Profile

- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in OTA revenue management/hotel distribution / online sales
- Strong command over OTAs, channel managers, and hotel PMS
- Proven expertise in pricing, forecasting, and yield optimisation
- Analytical mindset with strong Excel/reporting skills
- Confident communicator with negotiation capability
- Leadership ability to manage teams and deliver revenue targets
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
