Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 6–10 years of hands-on experience, including significant exposure to SAP HANA environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, migrations, and ensuring the smooth operation of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities :
Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including ECC, S/4

HANA, BW/4

HANA, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and Fiori.
Manage HANA database operations including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and patching.
Perform system copies, migrations (including OS/DB migrations), upgrades, and Unicode conversions.
Support SAP system landscape design, planning, and implementation.
Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations.
Manage SAP transports and support change management processes.
Maintain user administration and authorization management.
Apply OSS notes, kernel upgrades, and support packs.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and exercises.
Work closely with SAP functional and development teams to resolve system-related issues.
Provide 24x7 support for production systems on a rotational basis.
Required Skills :
6–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration.
Proven expertise in managing SAP systems on HANA and ASE databases.
Strong experience with SAP S/4

HANA implementations or migrations.
Experience in system refresh, client copies, and transport management.
Proficient in SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and maintenance.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and shell scripting.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Certification in SAP BASIS or HANA is preferred.
Soft Skills :
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to manage tasks independently and mentor junior team members.
Good documentation and knowledge management practices.
Education :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
SAP Certification(s) in BASIS or HANA (preferred).
