Role Overview
The Digital Manufacturing Intern will support implementation of Smart Manufacturing initiatives across MSMEs, assist in digital readiness assessments, and contribute to development of Proof-of-Concept (PoC) solutions in Industrial IoT, AI, and Automation.
This role provides hands-on exposure to real factory environments and practical digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Industry & MSME Engagement
Assist in factory visits to assess digital maturity and automation scope
Support data collection for Digital Readiness & Feasibility Reports
Document current production processes and identify improvement areas
2. Smart Manufacturing Support
Assist in development of:
Industrial IoT architectures
Machine data acquisition systems
OEE monitoring dashboards
AI/ML-based predictive maintenance models
Support Proof-of-Concept (PoC) implementation in pilot factories
3. Workshop & Awareness Program Support
Assist in organizing MSME Awareness Sessions under RAMP
Prepare presentations on:
Industry 4.0
Digital Manufacturing
Automation & Robotics
Edge Computing & Data Analytics
Support live demonstrations during workshops
4. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare technical documentation and feasibility reports
Assist in proposal drafting and solution architecture diagrams
Maintain industry visit reports and case studies
5. Research & Innovation
Conduct research on latest Industry 4.0 technologies
Identify cost-effective digital solutions for MSMEs
Support development of sector-specific use cases (Pharma, Food, Manufacturing, etc.)

Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech / M.Tech / Diploma in:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Communication
Mechatronics
Industrial Engineering
Computer Science (AI/ML/IoT focus preferred)
Final Year Students / Fresh Graduates preferred
