System Engineer - IT Support

Podar International Schools, Bihar  region is looking for System Engineer - ICT.

Samastipur, Bihar
Role:  System Engineer to oversee IT for 06 to 07 schools in Bihar and Bengal

Broadly responsible for;
Manage and maintain  IT infrastructure  across school campuses including desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, smart boards, Wi-Fi and LAN.
Ensure smooth functioning of  school ERP / LMS / online learning platforms , email systems, and attendance software.
Provide  technical support  to principals, teachers, admin teams, and students for hardware/software issues.
Coordinate  installation, troubleshooting, upgrades, and preventive maintenance  of systems and networking equipment.
Maintain  data backup, antivirus protection, cybersecurity, and user access controls .
Support  CBSE digital compliance , online examinations, board portal uploads, and digital documentation.
Liaise with  external vendors / AMC partners / internet service providers  for timely issue resolution.
Monitor IT inventory, procurement requirements, and maintain records of assets/licenses.
Assist schools with  audio-visual setup  for assemblies, meetings, trainings, and events.
Travel/coordinate between Bihar & Bengal campuses to standardize IT systems and resolve escalations.
Pre-requisites / Eligibility
Graduate / Diploma / Degree in IT / Computer Science / Hardware & Networking  (BCA /

B.Sc IT / Diploma preferred).
3–5+ years of experience  in IT support/network administration; school/education sector preferred.
Good knowledge of:
Windows OS / Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
LAN/WAN / Wi-Fi troubleshooting
Printers, smart boards & classroom tech
ERP/LMS systems
Basic server management & cybersecurity
Ability to handle  multiple campuses / remote troubleshooting .
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to  travel across Bihar and West Bengal  as required.
Basic understanding of  vendor management and IT budgeting  preferred.
Preferred in School Setup

Experience with  CBSE portals / digital exam processes .
Exposure to  computer lab setup and classroom technology integration .
Comfortable training teachers on basic IT tools and systems.
