We are representing a  European institutional DeFi asset management firm operating within a regulated structure , focused on providing  risk-managed on-chain yield strategies for institutional and HNI investors .
The fund operates across  stablecoin, BTC, and ETH strategies , with a disciplined approach to:
Risk management and capital protection frameworks
Institutional-grade custody architecture
On-chain monitoring and execution systems
Regulated European fund structure with strong compliance and reporting standards

The firm is currently in a high-growth phase, scaling its institutional footprint and expanding its investment capabilities across DeFi markets.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a  Head of DeFi / Portfolio Manager  to own  investment performance, capital allocation, and DeFi strategy execution .
This is a  performance seat role  — you directly influence P&L, manage capital deployment, and lead investment decisions in a fast-scaling institutional crypto fund.
You will work directly with the founders and chair key investment discussions.

Key Responsibilities
Own portfolio allocation across DeFi yield strategies and manage live P&L
Design and execute new on-chain strategies (lending, liquidity, structured yield, private protocol deals)
Lead end-to-end due diligence: tokenomics, liquidity, risk, governance, liquidation mechanics
Build and write investment memos and present in investment committee
Monitor live portfolio risk: depegs, liquidation exposure, yield efficiency, protocol risk
Execute institutional-grade on-chain transactions (multisig, simulation, secure routing)
Manage analysts and define investment workflow cadence
Maintain deal flow pipeline and protocol relationships

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must have:
3+ years in crypto / DeFi with real capital deployed on-chain
Strong understanding of DeFi primitives: lending markets, vaults, yield strategies, risk structures
Experience managing crypto portfolios through real market cycles (including drawdowns)
Strong on-chain analytics + risk monitoring capability
Ability to independently defend investment theses in IC discussions
Fluent English (French is a plus)
