Job Summary
The team lead of digital marketing is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring digital marketing projects to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and achievement of business objectives. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, client communications, campaign execution, resource allocation, project timelines, and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables for digital marketing campaigns.
Coordinate project activities across design, content, social media, SEO, paid advertising, and development teams.
Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timelines.
Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or risks.
2. Team Coordination & Management
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
Conduct regular project review meetings and status updates.
Track individual and team performance against project milestones.
Ensure effective collaboration among internal departments.
3. Client Communication & Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates.
Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
Present campaign progress, reports, and recommendations to clients.
Manage client expectations and resolve project-related concerns.
4. Campaign Management
Oversee the execution of:
Social Media Marketing Campaigns
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Google Ads Campaigns
Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads
Email Marketing Campaigns
Content Marketing Initiatives
Ensure campaign objectives align with client and business goals.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track campaign KPIs and project performance metrics.
Analyze campaign results and prepare performance reports.
Provide recommendations for campaign optimization and improvement.
Maintain project documentation and MIS reports.
6. Resource & Budget Management
Plan and allocate resources effectively across multiple projects.
Monitor project budgets and marketing spend.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and resources.
Coordinate with vendors and external partners when required.
7. Quality Assurance
Review campaign deliverables before client submission.
Ensure brand consistency and quality standards are maintained.
Verify accuracy of content, creatives, and marketing materials.
8. Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and efficiency.
Implement project management best practices.
Develop SOPs and documentation for recurring activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
MBA in Marketing/Digital Marketing (Preferred).
Certification in Digital Marketing or Project Management will be an added advantage.
3–5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing.
Minimum 2 years of experience in project management or team leadership.
Experience handling multiple digital marketing projects simultaneously.
Prior knowledge in handling of Govt. Projects.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Digital Marketing Strategy and Campaign Planning.
Hands-on experience in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing).
Proficiency in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
Expertise in Social Media Management and Content Marketing.
Knowledge of Email Marketing and Marketing Automation Tools.
Experience with Google Analytics and performance tracking tools.
Familiarity with project management platforms such as Trello, Asana, Click Up, , or similar tools.
Ability to analyze campaign performance data and generate actionable insights.
