About the Role:

We’re looking for someone to set up, manage, and own our Shopify store end-to-end. This is not a coding or development role; we will be working with a ready-made Shopify template.

We are looking for someone who can execute, manage, and grow our digital presence.

Your role is to bring the website to life and run it as a business channel, from setup to daily operations and scaling e-commerce sales through a combination of Shopify store management, SEO, and performance marketing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Phase 1 - Setup (Short-Term)

- Set up our Shopify store using a selected theme/template
- Upload and organize products (images, descriptions, pricing, variants)
- Structure collections, navigation, and basic site flow
- Use AI tools to assist with content, product descriptions, and layout decisions
- Integrate Shopify with Vyapar for inventory alignment
- Set up payments, shipping rules, and basic policies
- Test the full order journey before launch

Phase 2 - Ongoing Management (Long-Term)

- Manage day-to-day website operations (orders, updates, product changes)
- Ensure inventory accuracy between Shopify and Vyapar
- Coordinate order processing and ensure smooth customer experience
- Optimize product pages for better conversion (images, descriptions, layout)
- Monitor website performance and suggest improvements
- Run basic campaigns/updates (new launches, offers, seasonal changes)
- Troubleshoot issues and take ownership of solving them
- Manage and optimize our Google presence, including basic SEO (site structure, product keywords, metadata, search visibility)
- Campaign setup, audience targeting, budget management, reporting using Meta Ads Manager

Requirements:

- Prior experience working on Shopify websites (setup and/or management)
- Must have previously built or managed a live website (Shopify or similar platform)
- Portfolio of past work is mandatory (live links preferred)
- Strong ownership mindset; ability to run this independently
- Familiarity with AI tools to improve speed and efficiency
- Understanding of e-commerce operations (orders, inventory, CX)
- Organized, detail-oriented, reliable and pro-active
- Working knowledge of Google SEO fundamentals and improving organic search visibility
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager (campaign setup, audience targeting, budget management, reporting)
- Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret ad performance and recommend improvements
