Head Security Automation

Job Purpose:

The Head of Security Automation provides strategic direction and leadership in implementing and managing advanced security technologies across the conglomerate. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, establishing standards, and ensuring optimal performance of security systems in alignment with organizational objectives. The role also encompasses stakeholder collaboration, project governance, and fostering technological excellence to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency across diverse business units.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Define and lead the security automation strategy; establish governance frameworks; champion innovation; influence policy development.
Security Technology & Automation:
Oversee AI-driven analytics, IoT devices and monitoring platforms; ensure scalability of CCTV, access control and biometric systems; develop automated threat detection and response frameworks; leverage analytics for optimization.
Project Governance:
Provide oversight for security automation projects, budgeting, risk mitigation, KPI tracking and quality benchmarks.
Partner Selection & Engagement:
Shape vendor selection strategy; negotiate partnerships; monitor vendor performance.
Performance Improvement:
Institute metrics, drive innovation, optimize systems and benchmark against global standards.
People Leadership:
Lead and mentor teams, develop succession plans and collaborate with business units.

Job Qualifications:

Qualification:

Bachelor's/Master's Degree. Additional qualifications or certifications in Security Management preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 20 years in corporate security. Military or law enforcement background preferred.
Industry Preferred:
Utility industry experience with exposure to corporate security best practices and innovative security technology solutions preferred.
