Role Overview
Position:  SAP Cloud Platform Admin

Location:

Bangalore
Core Purpose
Administer, govern, and secure the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and global SAP cloud solutions.
Serve as the primary technical contact for developers, integration teams, and architects to ensure platform stability, cost optimization, and enterprise compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration:  Manage BTP Global Accounts, Directories, Subaccounts, entitlements, quotas, and multi-environment landscapes (Dev/Test/Prod).
Security & Identity:  Configure SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), role collections, enterprise IdP integration, and enforce least-privilege access.
Connectivity & Integration:  Setup secure connectivity using SAP Cloud Connector, destinations, certificates, and principal propagation.
Operations & Monitoring:  Oversee service life cycles (Integration Suite, Process Automation, HANA Cloud), track logs/alerts, and optimize consumption/costs.
Governance & Compliance:  Enforce Clean Core principles, architecture standards, and regulatory compliance (GxP, SOX).

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with ERP Architects, Basis, and developers on standards, PoCs, and operational runbooks.
Required Experience
Education & Years:  Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering +  5+ years  managing SAP BTP and cloud solutions for global ERP environments.
Platform Expertise:  Deep knowledge of BTP, Signavio, LeanIX, Cloud ALM, and SaaS solutions (IBP, Commerce Cloud, Ariba, Concur).
Runtimes:  Hands-on experience with Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma environments.
Architecture:  Strong grasp of transport strategies, landscape segregation, and S/4

HANA extensibility.
Key Differentiators (Preferred)
Experience managing large enterprise BTP landscapes, HANA tuning, or SAP BASIS operations.
Domain knowledge in  Life Sciences / Pharmaceuticals  and GxP compliance.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
